Workshop: AFC Digital Hub meets Accademia

The Anti Financial Crime Digital Hub — a consortium between Intesa Sanpaolo, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Politecnico di Torino, University of Torino and Centai — invites all professors, researchers and PhD students to the workshop “Anti Financial Crime Digital Hub meets academia” which will take place on November 15th at 15:30 in the Luigi Ciminiera meeting room, Politecnico di Torino. The workshop aims to foster collaboration between the Politecnico, University of Torino and Centai researchers and the Anti Financial Crime Digital Hub consortium. The focus will be on financial crime detection in bank transactions, leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to develop predictive models, analyze transaction data, and propose innovative approaches to combat financial fraud and money laundering. The collaboration seeks to produce insights that strengthen financial crime prevention strategies and enhance compliance mechanisms. The workshop will consist of a single session, starting with the Anti Financial Crime Digital Hub team presenting the key challenges and available data, followed by technical contributions from previous projects held in collaboration with researchers. A brainstorming session will follow to collect ideas for possible new projects.

A get-together coffee will close the workshop, offering participants a chance to network and discuss the topics further.
