Mario is an associate professor of Electronics at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Politecnico di Torino. His research area is the design and the associated methodologies for Systems-on-Chip and embedded systems with domain-specific accelerators, both for FPGA and ASIC technologies, as well as their applications in various industrial sectors. His current interests are dedicated in particular to hardware accelerators for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
