Lorenzo Vaiani

PhD Student - Machine Learning and Deep Natural Language Processing

My name is Lorenzo Vaiani, I am 25 years old (born on 30/04/1996) in Pistoia. During my bachelor degree I studied computer engineering at the University of Florence and I completed my studies with a thesis in the field of machine learning in collaboration with “Lega Pallavolo Serie A”.
Subsequently I enrolled at the Politecnico di Torino to undertake the Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in data science. My studies ended with a thesis, again in the field of machine learning in collaboration with the company “KMaster Telepass”, with which I continued to collaborate for a short time even after graduation. Finally, I applied for the PhD program and my research topic is about Exploring the use of Deep Natural Language Processing models to analyze documents in cross-lingual and multi-domain scenarios.
